I am a field biologist, and my greatest passion is work with indigenous communities in Latin America, although now I work more at the lab. I like to spend lots of time surrounded by nature. I am convinced that with education, our community can improve in many ways.

I have lived in 4 different countries spread through 3 different continents. I love doing sports; age is slowing me down but will never stop me.
Having myself been an expat, living abroad in Mexico as a child, I have a natural affinity to the immigrant experience and its challenges. I would very much like to give back to the community and contributing to the Centro’s mission and helping out the students will be very rewarding.

I was often called “Novicia Revelde” (rebel novice) because I spent 8 years in a convent working with young people. I played the guitar and sang with all the kids.

CHM changed my life. I met people, who like me, were wondering what we could do. I did my GED because it was easier to graduate than to validate my studies from Dominican Republic. As a graduate, I feel I can contribute with my experience as student and give back as I received when I started.
I have 2 kids and every Tuesday I run to be on time! I always remember what it feels to be a student and I love to help now that I’m in the other side. I love teaching such wonderful students!
